Since receiving his Phd from ARE in 2011, Biswo has worked in various academic and policy-making institutions in his home country of Nepal. He served as an economic advisor at Nepal’s Ministry of Finance and held roles with the International Labour Organization and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of Sanima Bank from 2012 to 2013 and taught at the Kathmandu University School of Management.
